Hope is a feeling that carries us through our current moments in time into some distant future. Hope is something that catches inside of us and springs forth like a fountain inspiring all those around. It's incredible what hope can do when someone is inspired by it. Our hope can actually inspire others to do more and be more. So let's look at ways we can inspire hope in others! 1. Share Your Passion Enthusiasm is a contagious! When you share what you are passionate about others get excited. The energy moves from one person to the next and suddenly a movement is on hand. Sharing our passion inspires hope in people. They see someone willing to follow their dreams and openly share about themselves. So get out there and share what your passion is with others. 2. Dream Big Dreaming makes us ask the question what is possible? Answering this question is difficult because the immense possibilities that lay within our own reach if we only begin to step forward. Yes we can put clarifying context on it and identify easily why things cannot change however that really isn't answering the question. Instead we succumb to our own consciousness of what the world is instead of what it can be. Change your mindset and think openly and positively without any holding back. Wonder what can be possible. Think, create, and answer the question. 3. Show Genuine Care There is nothing more empowering than being around someone who genuinely cares about you and the relationship they have with you. Most often I see this when someone is asking questions and listening. Relationships matter! When we choose to have compassion and care for someone else we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus. He wants people to be who they are and to come before him to experience a love like no other. We all have this chance to be genuine, who God created us to be, and to take time to genuinely care for those around us instead of being too busy with the world. 4. Build People Up "I believe in you". "You can do it". "You are strong". Supporting others through encouraging words and actions inspires strength in them to be the powerful individuals they are. When we take the time to affirm, we are empowering them with hope. Hope is fostered and springs forward propelling the person to a new level of belief in themselves. 5. Focus On The Positive In every situation there can be something positive if we take the time and choose to accept it. Doing this means we have to change our mindset into focusing on the good and not the bad. We also have to increase our patience and awareness. Ultimately there is going to be some pretty terrible days in our lives, its just inevitable. However we also have the choice to how we respond. You can start practicing with the minor inconveniences and mishaps that happen daily by finding the positive. Take a breathe, think about the situation, and respond with your best self. A big thanks to all those who inspire hope in others!
Carry hope with you this week and share it with someone else!

I started this journey two years ago in hopes of providing content to help others along their spiritual journey as well as learn about Community of Christ. I have learned a lot over these two years and have been blessed with some wonderful people to share their stories and experience on here. For our two year anniversary I wanted to share some lessons I have learned about this ministry and hopefully they are pertinent to your faith journey. 1. God journeys with us The more I write and hear from others the more I know God is right there with each one of us on the journey. God is shaping who we are by the experiences we live in and through each day. When we respond to God's prompting in our lives we usually find ourselves giving to and blessing others. It is in these actions where God is fully present living, loving, and working. God is with us during the ups and downs and will forever be along the journey with us. 2. We must share our stories When we share stories people begin to connect and understand who God is. It is in our personal witness that people come to know and feel the love of Christ. Stories are meaningful, inspiring, and empower others to find God. They also help us remember the times when we had a personal encounter with the divine and what it meant for us in that moment. Stories teach how God is moving and working in the world. It makes God's love into something tangible and real that can actually happen to me. 3. Everyone has something to contribute Some of the most valuable and meaningful content over the last two years were from guest bloggers sharing their heart about their personal encounter with Christ. Many were flattered about the opportunity to share and wondered if it would be good enough. God has each given us stories to share which will contribute to the spiritual growth of others. I cannot stress enough that each one of us can contribute. We all have gifts, talents, and a story others need to hear. 4. No one is beyond God's grace Life has a way of chewing us up and spitting us out. Bad circumstances and events happen to people and we often feel we are not worthy or deserving enough to be loved. But God thinks differently. God sees your worth and value and calls you a beloved child. God knows the struggles you have been through and yet loves you all the same. That's what grace is. God continues to choose you and call you by your name, because you are worthy and deserving of love. Thank you to all those who have supported the blog these last two years. I have appreciated hearing the positive feedback.
This week hug someone and tell them they are worthy of God's love! |
